Our newest member of St. Chad’s paid us a visit yesterday. He is called ‘Arlo’ . He was only born on Tuesday 26 August 2014 so had to be accompanied by his proud parents Olivia and Jonathan. As you can see from the photo below that he was very cool about the whole thing, but nevertheless was the centre of attention after the service.
He probably came because he knew that our vicar Edwina leaves next Sunday 7th September after being at St. Chad’s for seven years. In that time she told Arlo that 21 babies have been born to members of St. Chad’s in that time. I suppose that is one way of increasing the congregation! However, meeting Arlo was a very happy occasion.
