I have just received an email from Father Joel Malanda.
I thought you might like to see what happens to the donations
St. Chad’s makes to Father Joel and the Living Bread Organisation.
It gives the accounts for the last donation sent to him. See in church
on the Malawi board.
EXPENDITURE ON FOOD, SCHOOL FEES, SECOND HAND CLOTHES AND TRANSPORT.
Maize 50 bags @ 12.21 each = 610.50
Transport = 64.00
Clothes (second hand) bale = 160.30
Total Amount = 834. 80
School fees amount = £ 104.83
TOTAL EXPENDITURE = 834.80 + 104.83 = £ 939.63
Also it indicates that two orphans that have had their school fees
paid for over the last five years of secondary school
by St. Chad’s have gained places as university.
What an achievement!!!
This is only possible with long-term financial support.
The cutting from the ‘Nation on Sunday’ in Malawi sings the
praises of Nkate Wamoyo Children’s Foundation Trust headed
up by Director Father Joel Malanda; a Christian charity.
This is the Malawian name for the ‘Living Bread Organisation’ that
we know and support at St. Chad’s. We are their only donor.
Tonight at the PCC meeting we will be discussing whether to carry on
our support for Father Joel and the LBO.
