18-04-2013 Message & Photos from Fr. Joel re Malawi Orphans.

Hi Paul,

Thanks very much for your kindness to orphans, helpless and hopeless elderly. Also have delayed to reply because of power cuts, out internet cafes rely on Escom power only and every day we experience this problem.

Thanks we have received the donation from St. Chad’s for food and school fees. Schools open on 8th April,2013 and we have started buying food and next week we will distribute the food to the children. This time the committee has suggested to do this distribution on household or door to door so that you our donor should see where these children live and we send you some photos. It will give you picture of their living conditions.

Also we have received the 3 ambulance bikes and 5 cartons of clothes, blankets and gloves from St. Chad’s from the container. We will also show children receiving them at their homes. Therefore a blessing hand of God be on you and Sue.

We are still in prayers for Mary and Robin until total healing prevails. We are proud to have Mary since old people are an asset to be proud of really. Business plan has been sent back because it is not balancing therefore, we expect soon we send you.

Please receive the financial report and photos of some of the orphans and elderly. As I said that we decided to reach the children and helpless hopeless elderly in their homes for you to see their living conditions. Some of the orphans live alone without any guardian and we call it a child headed family. These are some of the ones you see.
