News About Malawi.
Our donation to the Living Bread Organisation was sent off in November and arrived in good time for Father Joel and his helpers to buy the food (maize, beans and salt) before Christmas and distribute it to the orphans on December 23rd. Accounts will be sent to us shortly. Father Joel says,
‘School fees will be paid on January 7th when the children return to school and thank you for the donation from the congregation of St. Chad’s’.
We have had more good news from Malawi. Another of the pupil we have supported through school has gained exam results that entitle him to a university place. Lucius Phiri hopes to go to agricultural college. All this has been achieved through your generosity.
If you have a Malawi collection box and haven’t had it emptied recently, could you please hand it in to myself or Paul Gregory.
