Saturday 3rd March. Messy Church. This was a great success with 50 parents and children enjoying an afternoon in church; fun games, food and drinks.
Sunday 11th March. Cream Tea. Thank you very much to everyone who supported or helped in any way with this event. It seemed to go very well and raised £340 for the Malawi orphans.
Many of you may already receive BEN (Birmingham Ecumenical News) in paper form and you may be aware that on the newsletter page of their website, it is possible to subscribe to their free monthly enewsletter which has brief news items and also gives a snap shot of upcoming events. Additionally, 4 times a year when BEN is published, the enewsletter also includes the latest edition of BEN. In addition to your plans to link to their website, some of your church members, such as newsletter editors, secretaries, etc., might also benefit from receiving the enewsletter. This is the link to the relevant page http://www.birminghamchurches.org.uk/our-newsletter/ The deadline date for the next issue of BEN is 5pm on Thursday 3 May.
April 8th 2012 Easter Sunday at the Sunrise service. As the photos below show, there was a great turnout at this moving seqrvice.
